Transition Song: Silly Pizza Song
Concepts: putting things in places; on top; next to; under, above;
Materials: laminated letter P. Laminated place mat and place settings.
Pre-literacy skills: Draw the letter P. What words have the p-p-p sound in them. We say p-p-p without our voices turned on. If we turn our voices on, then it sounds like b-b-b.
We're talking about the letter P and putting things in places! We're back to the table settings we did in February. Where do we put the napkin? Under the fork. Where do we put the cup? Above the plate. Where do we put the spoon? Next to the knife.
